The Baltimore Sun Auction for CENTERSTAGE, an annual radio broadcast on WBAL AM 1090, will hit airwaves on Sunday, February 28, beginning at 8am and continuing until midnight. The broadcast features live telephone bids from the listening public for over 600 items and services donated by area merchants.

CENTERSTAGE Associate Artist Kwame Kwei-Armah's Let There Be Love will have its American premiere at CENTERSTAGE, Febraury 10th-March 7th. The production will feature veteran stage and television actor Avery Brooks (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Spenser: for Hire).

CENTERSTAGE Offers Opportunity for Maryland Students to Showcase Talent with 24th Annual Young Playwrights Festival >>
CENTERSTAGE highlights budding talent in the 24th annual Young Playwrights Festival. Any Maryland student in first through twelfth grade is eligible and encouraged to submit a play. All entries must be hand-delivered or postmarked by February 13th.

CENTERSTAGE Artistic Director Irene Lewis announces that veteran stage and television actor Avery Brooks will join Pascale Armand and Gretchen Hall in the upcoming American premiere of Kwame Kwei-Armah's Let There Be Love, opening February 7th.

CENTERSTAGE announces the titles for the newly created spring series of Concert Readings. The work showcases a diverse selection of current international writing, featuring works by Tony Kushner, Caryl Churchill, and Motti Lerner.
