Irene Lewis, Artistic Director of CENTERSTAGE, and Jay Smith, President of the theater's Board of Trustees, annoucned today that Ms. Lewis will leave CENTERSTAGE after completion of the 2010-11 Season, which will mark her 19 year as Artistic Director.

Artistic Director Irene Lewis announced the 2010-11 Season at CENTERSTAGE. The theater will continue to stage works that probe the depths of our theatrical inheritance and new works that pose big questions, while also continuing its recent commitment to expanding an already diverse and eclectic repertoire. Starting with the blockbuster musical The Wiz, the new season will again include six fully produced plays in the Pearlstone and Head Theaters.
