Looking for a space for your performance, meeting, fundraiser, or other special event? CENTERSTAGE’s historic Calvert Street home features two fully equipped theaters, four bars, two rehearsal halls, and several other unique spaces available for rent by individuals and organizations.

Performance Spaces

  • The Pearlstone Theater
    Built in 1977, this intimate space features a modified thrust stage, with orchestra and mezzanine levels where no seat is further than 35 feet from the stage.Maximum Seating Capacity: 541
  • The Head Theater Cabaret
    This unique venue includes a combination of traditional theater seating with an upscale wine and beer bar inside the theater and small reception space directly adjacent. Maximum Capacity: 298

Lobbies & Bars

  • The Deering Lobby (1st floor): Maximum Capacity: 400/115 (seated)
  • Lobby Bar (1st floor): Maximum Capacity: 75/30 (seated)
  • Marilyn Meyerhoff Mezzanine Café & Bar (2nd floor): Maximum Capacity: 150/80 (seated)
  • Nancy Roche Chapel Bar & Donor Lounge (4th Floor): Maximum Capacity: 60/30 (seated)

Rehearsal Halls

CENTERSTAGE owns nearly 50 fully furnished apartments that typically house our visiting artists and interns—but are often available for temporary or summer rental. All are fully furnished and located in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon Cultural District within walking distance of CENTERSTAGE.

Monthly rental fee includes all utilities—plus local phone service (no long distance), and basic cable TV. Parking, when available, is an additional cost.
