Exchange Tickets
Service charge-free ticket exchanges are one of the best benefits of a CENTERSTAGE Membership! And, as a Member, ALL of your tickets are exchangeable, including those extras you purchase for family or friends.
Only Members get unlimited, service-charge free ticket exchanges throughout the season. Requires 24-hour advance notice for 3-Pack, Matinee, Cabaret, Flex, Play Lab, and ‘Christmas in July’ series Members.
Classic and Ultimate Members may exchange up until 5 pm on the day of the performance. (Non-Members may make a one-time exchange by paying a $5 service charge.)
Six Ways to Exchange Tickets
-
Email
You may email an exchange request to the Box Office at exchange@centerstage.org. Please include either the order number on your ticket or your customer number, as well as your name, contact information, two possible exchange dates and times in the body of the email.
-
In Person
Please note that, in order to make sure all patrons get into the show on time, we are not able to handle in-person exchanges in the half-hour before a performance begins.
-
Fax
Fax exchanges to 410.727.2522 after writing VOID across your ticket.
-
Mail
CENTERSTAGE Box Office
700 North Calvert Street
Baltimore, MD 21202-3686
NOTE: our Box Office does not receive mail on Saturdays.
-
Phone
Call the Box Office at 410.332.0033. Because we must reference a code printed on your tickets, you must have them in hand when exchanging by phone or online. If your tickets are being held for pick-up at the Box Office, just let us know.
Not sure when you would like to attend? Consider putting your tickets on Open Exchange prior to the performance—then simply call us when you have decided upon a new date. Note: the ticket value is placed on hold until you contact the Box Office to reschedule to another date within that same show. Tickets must be rescheduled before the close of the original show and cannot be exchanged into another show.
Can't make any remaining performances of a particular production? Please consider donating your tickets back to the theater! As a non-profit charitable organization, we will gladly accept your ticket donation, as long as our Box Office receives your donation request before show time. Your generosity may also help a fellow theater lover get into what is often a sold-out performance!
Additional Notes:
The Box Office will always respond to confirm a ticket exchange, whether submitted online or via fax or mail. If you haven't received a confirmation, your exchange has not yet been processed. Just to be safe, we recommend you call to confirm your exchange has been received if you do not hear back from our staff within a reasonable time frame.
Your tickets include a unique barcode that will be scanned when you enter the theater. If you exchange your tickets without turning them in to the Box Office for new tickets, your old tickets will be invalidated and rejected by our ticket scanners. If you change your mind about a ticket exchange, please contact the Box Office for a new seat assignment for your original performance.
Members exchanging to a more expensive seat or performance pay only the difference in their regular membership price.
