CENTERSTAGE is welcoming and accessible to all patrons and is fully ADA-compliant. We offer a variety of pre-scheduled performance and ongoing services for patrons who request audio, visual, and mobility accommodations.

Assistive Listening
CENTERSTAGE offers brand new, comfortable FM-assistive listening devices, available as behind-the-head earphones or single-ear speakers. Our new system can also send audio directly into inter-coil hearing aids when patrons borrow a loop device. Headsets are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you leave photo identification while borrowing the device. Patrons can request a device in advance when purchasing tickets or by e-mailing their request to boxoffice@centerstage.org. |

Audio Description

Braille Programs
Braille programs are available at no charge for every Pearlstone Series or Short Work performances. Stop by our lobby information counter on your way into the show. |

Large-Print Programs
An abridged version of our production program is available from the lobby information counter for all Pearlstone Series and Short Works productions, and are available upon advance request for all other performances. Please email your request to access@centerstage.org at least two business days in advance of your visit. |

Sign Interpretation
The Hearing and Speech Agency of Central Maryland provides a professional ASL translation and interpretation on designated dates for each Pearlstone Series and Short Work production. Wheelchair & Mobility Access
Utilizing universal design, both The Pearlstone and Head Theaters are fully accessible for patrons with specific mobility needs. Both offer removable seats for patrons who use wheelchairs, and the theater has an on-site wheelchair for use upon request. In addition, our Box Office entrance has a gently sloping ramp that provides access to our lobby and motorized doors that can be opened at the touch of a button. |
