CENTERSTAGE 2010-11 Volunteer Benefit Guide


Volunteers earn Virtual Vouchers good for two tickets to CENTERSTAGE’s Classic Series productions. The number of Vouchers earned is determined by your commitment to Volunteer Service:


FULL-TIME USHERS

Commitment: Two performance shifts for each Classic Series production throughout the 2010-11 season.

Benefit: Virtual Vouchers are good for 2 free tickets to EACH Classic Series production throughout the 2010-11 Season. Vouchers are issued automatically by the Box Office and are available to be redeemed on the Monday before the first preview. To reserve your tickets, please call 410.332.0033. Vouchers are valid for any Sunday–Thursday evening performance or Saturday matinee. Tickets are not available for Opening Night, Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday matinees, or the
last week of a production’s run. Please note that, due to limited availability, neither Virtual Vouchers nor ticket discounts are offered for Play Labs, Cabarets, or The Holiday Stoop Show.


FLEX-TIME USHERS

Commitment: Usher as many or as few shifts as your schedule allows for the 2010-11 season.

Benefit: Virtual Vouchers are good for 2 free tickets to ANY Classic Series production throughout the 2010-11 Season. Vouchers are issued after your hours are confirmed and are available to be redeemed on the first business day (Monday—Friday) after the completion of your 12th hour of ushering. To reserve your tickets, please call 410.332.0033. Vouchers are valid for any Sunday–Thursday evening performance or Saturday matinee. Tickets are not available for Opening Night, Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday matinees, or the last week of a production’s run. Please note that, due to limited availability, neither Virtual Vouchers nor ticket discounts are offered for Play Labs, Cabarets, or The Holiday Stoop Show.


NON PERFORMANCE VOLUNTEERS

Commitment: Volunteer as your schedule allows for the 2010-11 Season.

SHARING YOUR VOUCHER WITH A FRIEND

You may transfer your vouchers to someone else by filling out a Voucher Transfer Slip, located in the Usher Sign-In Coatroom, and delivering it to the person to whom you would like to transfer your tickets. That person should then call the Box Office to reserve their seats, and must present the voucher when picking up tickets.


OTHER VOLUNTEER BENEFITS

Once your vouchers are used, additional tickets to any Classic Series production can be purchased at a $10 discount off the original ticket price. Please call the Box Office at ANY time to reserve your discounted tickets. You must mention that you are CENTERSTAGE Volunteer and request the discounted ticket price. Please note the discount is not available for Saturday night performances or for C location seats.

We are also pleased to offer all ushers TWO complimentary beverages (either soda, coffee, hot cocoa, or tea) during each performance they work. One beverage is available PRE-SHOW and the other during INTERMISSION. Alcoholic beverages, espresso drinks, juice, and bottled water are excluded. When ordering your pre-show beverage, please allow any patrons at the bar to place their order first before requesting your drink. The House Manager will take your beverage order when you sign in for your shift and the bar staff will have it waiting for you at intermission.

ALL volunteers can save 50% off these same beverages (soda, coffee, or tea) when attending the theater as a patron; just identify yourself as an usher or volunteer to the bartender prior to purchasing your beverage. If you need to grab a quick bite to eat before your usher shift, our a full dinner service is now available at the Mezzanine Café beginning two hours before each evening performance (90 minutes before afternoon matinees). All food items are available at REGULAR price.
