Caryl Churchill’s controversial Seven Jewish Children condenses millennia of history into an intensely poetic moment. And polemic and farce merge in Tony Kushner’s uproarious, passionate, and informed short, featuring an unlikely encounter: Laura Bush and an otherworldly interlocutor
