I'm not going to say anything about this Rating - | Apr 29 2011 3:21PM

The theatre tends to be distanced from its patrons. Not so here. Vocal quality and realism were stupendous, the skin crawls to consider such pain on the faces of each actor, wonderful Rating - | Apr 28 2011 11:03PM

My high school visited the theatre from Pennsylvania and we all looooooooved the show! Rating - 5 | Apr 28 2011 5:28PM

Attended this evenings performance and I may say that the actors are either very good or mentally unstable. How are they doing this night after night without going bonkers? Must be somethin in the centers stages waters that make these folks lose their marbles. I've never seen nothin quite this disturbing and im a nurse Rating - | Apr 27 2011 10:09PM

I have a question for the girl, does anyone know how I could contact her? Rating - | Apr 27 2011 3:07PM

Saw this tonight. Wonderful. The ensemble is terrific, the lead actor is insane Rating - | Apr 26 2011 10:25PM

agree. Loved the production. Loved the realism. Refreshing Rating - | Apr 26 2011 1:05AM

Unlike any play I've ever seen, because of style I think. We saw a Saturday night performance and were still discussing it Monday. The questions are asked so real, its very real, its just like watching a movie without a screen, even at the most violent and volatile parts it never becomes a play. That's a good thing my husband and I thought. We were talking about it as though we had both watched something we weren't allowed to watch. But my husband, who read the book and reviews, said that he understands the reviews because they are expecting the book paired down because the play is called crime and punishment but this isn't. This is something really unrelated to the novel He said. It just shares similarities. He preferred this to the book, and I told him this made me want to read the book and he told me now the book would bore me. So I just want to say, thank you centerstage, best of the season. I don't understand the reviews. So now I've written my own. And will read the book too Rating - | Apr 25 2011 7:07PM

An old pawnbroker, not Raskolnikov's landlady, turns up dead. Eric Feldman's performance was so natural, so unlike acting, that it put his cast member's over-acting into sharp relief (particularly Ms. Culpepper's, which seemed like something out of a high school melodrama). I was truly impressed with his naturalness. It was almost uncanny, and certainly creepy in a way that fit the subject matter perfectly. Bravo! Rating - | Apr 23 2011 3:18PM

Timeless metaphors for life in the City, effects of deprivation, and the face of violence as a definer of self, make this play a must see for high school students. Follow with discussions of it's relevance in today's urban environment and societal dysfunction. Get out the word to the City Schools Rating - 4 | Apr 16 2011 11:57PM

Unfortunately, this play is not up to Center Stage standards. The staging and lighting is well done, but the performance is flat. Can't put my finger on what's missing, but something is amiss. Rating - | Apr 16 2011 5:07PM
