The Young Playwrights Festival Tour

What Is It?

As part of the annual Young Playwrights Festival, the Young Playwrights Festival Tour brings honored Festival plays to schools across the state of Maryland. The production is designed to travel, meaning that performances can happen in a theater, or in non-traditional venues such as a school's library, gymnasium, or even a large classroom. Performances can also be followed by an interactive activity with students, such as a Q&A session about the performance, or a short workshop.

How Do I Participate?

When Is It?

Performance times are flexible. We typically consult with a teacher or administrator to find a time during the school day that works best for the school's scheduling needs.
