Being Caribbean in London has never been easy. Whether fighting with his proudly feminist daughter, raging against the inexorable tide of social change, or combating his own failing health, Alfred’s life feels like one long battle. Then a young immigrant arrives at his home, and old beliefs and fresh resentments all get challenged.
Parental Guidelines: Let There Be Love, while often humorous and touching, deals with sensitive subject matters and contains explicit language and mature references. Recommended for adults and mature teens.
This play has a running time of 2 hours 20 minutes including one 15-minute intermision.
