My husband and I have been subscribers for 5 years now, and comedies are always my favorite plays. This production my favorite of all time. They did their research, and nailed Charm City perfectly. We laughed from the 1st moments through to the end. I would love to see improve added to the line up every season. Wendy B. Pitts Rating - | Feb 23 2011 12:02PM
If a city and a people can't see the humor and truth in their lives, then where are they? This was a great show. Rating - | Feb 14 2011 11:46PM
Absolutely hysterical! The writers did their homework and made it easier to put on a comical look at our city. The improvisation was fantastic. Rather than feeling like you are watching a group put on a show you feel like you are hanging out with very funny friends. Paul Hively Rating - | Feb 14 2011 1:48PM

It was excellent. Laughed the whole time...except when they made fun of Pittsburgh...GO STEELERS! Rating - | Feb 14 2011 9:33AM

ROTFLMAO funny! Rating - | Feb 8 2011 9:15AM
Really bad show. We left at intermission. Although the actors were talented, it just seemed like forced humor. Not memorable at all, and the jokes weren't really funny. The best part of the show was when an audience member got involved. Very disappointing. Rating - | Feb 6 2011 9:55PM
This show was very funny. If you do not mind self-depricating humor (because it pokes a lot of fun at Baltimore) you will love this show. Rating - | Feb 6 2011 10:23AM
Great show. The one thing I really appreciate about Center Stage is the wide variety of plays they do each year. This show by Second City was a great addition to this year's subscription. It is a terrific performance. Rating - 5 | Feb 3 2011 1:27PM
If you are looking for serious theater, go downstairs and see "The Homecoming". This is great entertainment and a very smart and funny swipe at Baltimore. I laughed the entire show as I recognized myself and my neighbors in the Baltimore sketches. Some of the sketches are a little edgy, so I don't think it's a an all ages event, but I highly recommend it. Rating - | Feb 2 2011 9:42PM
Sadly I have to tell you that the show was the worst thing I have ever seen at Center stage.I thought the skits were corny and the humor juvenile. Center stage is a place where I have always enjoyed great, well acted theatre. I felt that this show should not have been part of a subscription.I left feeling I missed my "fix" of a good theatrical production If i wanted to see this sort of comedy I would go to a comedy club-not Center Stage. I really hope this is not going to be repeated-I love my subscription but if this is the type of show I'll be seeing in the future then maybe I should just choose the shows I want to see. Funniest thing I've seen in a long long time....and it takes no prisoners. I don't think much was left unscathed in the two hours we were there...great evening of comedy and wit. Donna Hamilton Rating - | Jan 20 2011 1:31PM
What night is Cindy Wolf on Stage.........are there still tickets for that night? Rating - | Jan 16 2011 11:45AM
2nd City's show was the tonic for the genesis of 2011. Let's hope everyone in Baltimore comes to see this delightful improvisational comedy in order to laugh at ourselves and the wacky city that so many of us call home, regardless of where we reside. Our ancestors who helped forge the city and environs would smile, too. GARY WILLIAM LENZ Rating - 5 | Jan 8 2011 11:57AM
What a grand show! Whether a native of Baltimore or new to the area, this 2nd City production is a "MUST SEE" for everyone! I have been to the Chicago's Old Town location for 2nd City numerous times since it celebrated its 8th birthday and have always loved it. Personally, I hope Center Stage brings it back to Md. every year. Thanks to Center Stage for being forward thinking and thank-you to 2nd City's staff and actors for bringing this great humor plus the writing and improv skills to Baltimore's stage. What a great event for kicking off 2011 -- Happy New Year! Vernene Rodgers Lenz Rating - 5 | Jan 8 2011 11:50AM
This show was incredible. The skits featuring The Ballad of Bob Irsay, the demise of the Sunpaper and the skit featuring Mr Boh were hilarious. Larry Dobres Rating - | Jan 5 2011 12:37PM
First let me tell you I took my 15 year old daughter and a friend of hers to the show last Thursday, Second City takes Baltimore. I've had season tickets for years (2 seats) stopped going for a few years and then started again. My vow to my children and friends I take is if the show is bad we leave. Sometimes we do but the past year we haven't left early. Thursday my daughter and her friend both said "we're NOT leaving early". We all agreed it was the BEST show we've ever seen at Center Stage. I smile and laughed so hard the time flew by, now I've done a facebook post so I can share the show with friends, hopefully they will purchase tickets. I just can't stop talking about the show. Thanks so much for having Center Stage and Second City. Ginny Deise Rating - | Jan 3 2011 11:53AM
