Vic's Greatest Hits - Robert F. Kennedy

Bobby Kennedy

“A few years later he did Bobby, too.”

Robert F. Kennedy was shot and killed in 1968, while vying for the nomination for Democratic presidential candidate. Reports cite Sirhan Sirhan as the lone assailant, but existing evidence seems to speak against this—for instance, the angle at which the bullets entered RFK’s body didn’t match Sirhan’s reported position at the time. The fact that large chunks of evidence were destroyed has triggered further suspicions. Dissenters claim that there was a second shooter, and that Sirhan’s shots might not have hit Kennedy, at all.

If Vic was this second shooter (and why should we doubt Tom’s claim?), we can’t really fault him. After all, RFK tended toward the fanatic in his prosecution of the mob. And beyond that, Bobby may well have had a hand in Marilyn Monroe’s destruction. Bobby may have carried on a fling of his own with Monroe and left her shattered, just as his brother had done. Bobby may even have been the issuer of Monroe’s death warrant, or may at least have advised JFK to order a hit (JFK often sought his brother’s advice, after all).

If that was the case, wasn’t it Vic’s, ahhh, duty to strike back?
