We are thrilled to introduce the next generation of theatergoers to the joys of high-quality theater.

Inaugurating the new Family Series is Maria Broom: television actress, theater educator, and beloved storyteller. With more than 40 years of performing and teaching across the globe, Maria Broom has delighted Baltimore Center Stage audiences before shows, during events, and as a special guest in education programs like Encounter and Camp Center Stage.

Miss Maria, the Story Dancer, and Jali D, the Drum Talker, offer the colorful cultural stories with projected illustrations and rhythms and rhymes for wise young minds. 

When The Children Dance: Exclusive Sensory-Friendly Performance

Sat, May 20 at 10:30 am | Jay Andrus Rehearsal Hall

Interactive singing and dancing. This sensory-friendly performance will be a safe, judgment-free environment welcoming to children with autism or with other disabilities that create sensory sensitivities.

Return of The Story Mother

Sat, Jun 17 at 10:30 am | Head Theater

A few favorite stories, raps, and songs from the Family Series plus a few new ones that will have everyone dancing in their seats.
