Jason Weems is a Baltimore based stand-up comedian who has been featured on NBC’S Last Comic Standing, Fox, and HBO. And, on May 23, 2017 he died after a performance in Philadelphia. No pulse. No heartbeat. 5-minutes. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

The comic, who just hours earlier, was being applauded by a Philadelphia audience now laid unconscious and unidentified in Hahnemann University Hospital. This life-altering experience re-ignited his drive to never allow his talents or the city he represents to be Unknown again.
