HAILEY JORDAN
Hailey Jordan (she/her) is a Baltimore-based design strategist and visual artist creating irresistible invitations to necessary work. With a background in neuroscience and social design, she transforms complex information into accessible tools that equip communities to shape liberatory futures.Her creative practice centers Black queer joy and collective imagination as seeds for worldbuilding. Through illustration, she honors Black and queer stories with vibrant color, overflowing flora, and touches of magic—holding grief and joy in the same breath. In tandem, she collaborates with community-rooted leaders to design experiences and tools that help people navigate systems, access opportunities, and take collective action. Hailey has collaborated across fields of practice, with clients including Baltimore Racial Justice Action, EnviroCollab, Health Equity Collective, Soul Fire Farm, and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Hailey has also taught and spoken widely on her approach to Design Justice at MICA, Wide Angle Youth Media, the Maryland Arts Summit, and International Placemaking Week. 2024/25 Season Artist

KHADIJA JAHMILA
Khadija Jahmila (b. 1993, Maryland) is an Afro-Caribbean mixed-media artist and creative entrepreneur whose work fuses hand-cut paper and digital collage to explore Afrofuturistic themes. Her vibrant creations celebrate the humanity, beauty, intersectionality, and otherworldliness of the African diaspora. Awarded the NextGen Award by VisArts Rockville, MD in 2020, Khadija’s art has been featured in retail spaces and exhibited across Washington, DC and Maryland, including notable venues such as Eaton DC, Waller Gallery, 11:Eleven Gallery, and VisArts.
In addition to her artistic practice, Jahmila teaches mixed media art to kindergarten through fifth-grade students at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop and leads weekly art classes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Creative Suitland. Additionally, she conducts her unique collage series, Cut It Out: A Dangerously Absurd Paper Collage Making Session, where she encourages participants to engage with innovative techniques and explore the playful aspects of visual storytelling. These roles underscore Khadija Jahmila’s commitment to making art accessible and engaging for a diverse range of ages and abilities.

BRANDON J. WALLACE
Brandon J. Wallace is an illustrator, cartoonist, and educator residing in Baltimore MD. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Morgan State University, Towson University, George Mason University, and Drexel University. The goal of his illustration work is to not only accompany text, but to provoke deeper contemplation of narratives through composition, line, value, and color. He is professionally interested in comics, illustrations, storyboards, and gallery exhibitions.
