“My favorite part is rehearsing because of the exploration of ‘how do you make it believable?’ which is always my bottom line. That’s the fun part.”

FIVE FACTS WITH JUDITH IVEY

  1. Judith portrayed Amanda in The Glass Menagerie at the Long Wharf Theatre and reprised the role in March 2010 at the Roundabout Theatre in New York.
  2. She received two Tony Awards for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performances in Steaming and Hurlyburly.
  3. Both of Judith’s parents are educators.
  4. Judith speaks a number of different dialects.
  5. The very first film Judith ever acted in, Harry & Son, was directed by and starred Paul Newman.
